• Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft microfiber cloth after wear to remove oils, dust, and fingerprints.
• Use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water and mild soap for occasional cleaning.
• Dry the watch thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth.
• Avoid bleach, chlorine, harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and household cleaning products.
• Do not use polishing compounds unless specifically recommended by the watch manufacturer.
• Light surface marks may develop over time with normal wear.
• Titanium can show cosmetic marks differently than stainless steel because of its lighter weight and surface characteristics.
• Always follow the water resistance rating listed by the manufacturer for your specific watch.
• Water resistance is not permanent and can decrease over time as seals and gaskets age.
• Make sure the crown is fully pushed in or screwed down before water exposure.
• Do not operate the crown, pushers, or other controls while the watch is underwater unless the manufacturer specifically states that it is safe to do so.
• Avoid hot tubs, saunas, and very hot showers, as heat and rapid temperature changes can affect the watch seals.
• Have the water resistance checked periodically, especially after battery replacement, case opening, or service.
• Store your watch in a clean, dry place when not in use.
• Keep it separated from other jewelry or watches to help prevent scratches.

Golden warmth and mechanical charm come together in the Frederique Constant Classics Heart Beat Moonphase Date (ref. FC-335MC4P5), a Swiss automatic watch that lets you see its heartbeat in real time. The 40mm round stainless steel case is finished in a rich gold tone that glows beautifully against a silver-toned brass dial, textured with a Clous de Paris guilloché pattern and set with traditional Roman numeral hour markers. At 12 o'clock, the signature Heart Beat opening reveals the escapement swinging back and forth, a living reminder that a true mechanical movement is at work on your wrist.
That movement is the Swiss-made FC-335 automatic, which winds itself from the natural motion of your arm, so there is never a battery to replace. Along with hours, minutes and seconds, it follows the phases of the moon and shows the date with a pointer, giving you a richly detailed dial that still reads cleanly at a glance. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal keeps everything crisp and protected, and a brown leather strap with a buckle closure completes a refined, traditional look that pairs as well with a tailored suit as with a weekend blazer. It's a dress watch with soul, made to be worn and enjoyed every day.
Frederique Constant was founded in 1988 by Aletta and Peter Stas, an entrepreneurial couple who shared a passion for watchmaking. Headquartered in Geneva, Frederique Constant has long aimed to make high-end Swiss-made watches available at more accessible prices. In 2004, it joined the ranks of Swiss watchmakers that develop and produce their own in-house calibers, and today its Manufacture in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, designs, develops and assembles more than 30 in-house calibers, including tourbillon, perpetual calendar and flyback chronograph complications. Frederique Constant celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2023.
The Heart Beat design first appeared in 1994 and quickly became one of Frederique Constant's signature looks. It was created to show at a glance that the watch is mechanical: an opening cut into the dial at the position of the balance wheel lets the wearer see the movement's rhythmic pulse. The Heart Beat Moonphase Date carries that idea into the Classics collection, where the open aperture at 12 o'clock is paired with a Clous de Paris guilloché dial, Roman numerals, a moon phase and a pointer date in a sturdier, more contemporary case.
